[back to base expeditions]
After our previous 'father-son' expedition, we received a lot of enthusiasm and interest from various parents who also wanted to go back to basics for 4 days with their (pre)adolescents (9 -14 years). As far as we are concerned, Alpe Selvaccia is a fantastic place for young and old to meet, experience nature and learn more about the 'back to basics' life in the Italian Alps.
That is why we have decided to organize a special 'Parent-Child Expedition' this year for the first time; for all fathers, mothers, sons and daughters looking for Italian Adventure! This also includes a special program:
-
4 Days back to basics in 'Alpe Selvaccia'
-
Digital Detox
-
Star Gazing & Astrology
-
Navigate with map & compass
-
Bushcraft & plant knowledge
-
Chop wood, make fire and sing around the campfire
-
Traditional sweat lodge ceremony
-
Cooking together on an open fire
-
Mountain hikes led by a certified local guide
It is our aim to make this an experience where parents and children can really be together in the mountains, but where parents and children can also learn from each other.
Locatie
We are guests in a deserted valley in the rugged Italian Alps at the foot of the Monte Rosa massif. A place where time has stood still. Far from luxury and civilization. 'Alpe Selvaccia' forms the backdrop for our five-day expeditione.
